Some LB&SCR wagons from Woodham Wagons Works kits

Introduction

The models are built to 4mm scale P4 standards (18.83mm gauge) from Woodham Wagon Works kits. The kits comprise a set of whitemetal castings and require wheels, couplings, axle guards (W-irons), paint and transfers to complete.

I have painted them in the early lavender grey livery with the "illiterates" symbol, as they would have appeared in the 1870's and 1880's.

Unfortunately, these kits are (only temporarily I hope) out of production.

An 1850's 3-plank coal wagon with corner strapping and dumb buffers.
